‘The Flash’ – Worlds Collide in New Action Packed Trailer
The new look at The Flash reveals a Batman, Barry, Barry, and Supergirl team up. Plus, gigantic action scenes and lots of feels.
This take on Barry was introduced in Zack Snyder’s The Justice League. In his solo outing, The Flash uses his super-speed abilities to change the past and save the ones he loves. The plan backfires, though. He creates a world without superheroes, without hope. In order to save the future, he has to work with heroes from across the timeline – and fight enemies that he’s accidentally brought back. This will be the most important race of his life.

The last trailer was filled with all the Batmans. The latest look is also about Batman… and the experiences that cause heroes to become heroes. And how far they’ll go to save not just the ones they love, but humanity as a whole.
The Flash Details & Cast
Ezra Miller is reprising their role as Barry Allen/The Flash. The Flashpoint inspired storyline brings back several actors from across DC’s film history. Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are back as their respective versions of Batman, and Michael Shannon and Antje Traue are reprising their roles in Man of Steel. Other cast members include Sasha Calle, Temuera Morrison, and Ron Livingston. Andy Muschietti (It Chapters 1 & 2) is directing from a script by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey, Bumble Bee) and Joby Harold (Edge of Tomorrow).
Worlds collide when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The Flash hits theaters on June 16.
