‘The Marvels’ First Trailer – Go Higher, Further, Faster
The first trailer for The Marvels is here, and it’s going to change everyth… everyone.
We’ve been waiting for the next sparkling chapter of the MCU’s Marvels storyline and it’s finally here!
The Marvels Cast & Details
Brie Larson returns to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. She’ll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel. This is the first teaser trailer we’ve seen since the end credits scene of Ms. Marvel.
In the new The Marvels teaser trailer, Danvers, Khan, and Rambeau find themselves in an unusual situation. Each time they use their powers, they begin swapping places. While Ms. Marvel is beyond excited to be joining the team, Rambaeu, and Captain Marvel aren’t quite ready to accept their new team just yet. The young Jersey City mutant is a little over-eager in demonstrating her powers and finds herself very far from home.
But with Goose, the Flerken who resembles a cat, by her side, she’ll (probably) be totally fine. Goose returns from the first Captain Marvel film. With the help of SH.I.E.L.D.’S Nick Fury and Captain Marvel and Rambeau, Kamala Khan is about to get set on an adventure like she’s never had before.
Despite their uncertainty, they will need to work together to figure out why this is happening and what they can do to stop this anomaly. The similarities of their powers are somehow linked, whether they like it or not. Khan’s ability to harness cosmic energy and create hard light constructs, and Rambeau’s ability to absorb and manipulate energy as a whole, there’s something waiting to be discovered.
The Marvels flies into theaters November 10th.
Brie Larson has said the film will dive deeper into Danvers and her “complexities” after her origin was established in the Captain Marvel movie. Similarly, Teyonah Parris, who plays Rambeau, has stated The Marvels will further explore her character beyond what was established in WandaVision.
