‘Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader’ Shows Off Familiar Destination In New ‘Locations Trailer’
Owlcat Games previewed some of the terrifying destinations in a new Rogue Trader Locations Trailer that shows off the grim, dark future.
They say it’s all about location, location, location. And while that usually refers to real estate, free or otherwise, it also happens to line up perfectly with the latest trailer for Warhammer 40K’s upcoming cRPG, Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trailer. The new “locations trailer” as the name implies, shows off the places you’ll go and some of the things you’ll see, and presumably blow up, in the course of your game.
Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader – Locations Trailer
Get a look at some of the diverse locations (including Commorragh, the Dark City of the Webway) you’ll be visiting in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, the upcoming isometric CRPG set in the Warhammer universe from Owlcat Games. Owlcat notes, “With this trailer, the team wants to show how they recreate the iconic Warhammer 40,000 atmosphere from an isometric point of view: gothic architecture, industrial yet dilapidated cities, and straight-up nightmarish penal colonies.” Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is in development for PC.
Rogue Trader is looking better and better with each new trailer. In the latest Rogue Trader “Locations Trailer” we get a look at some of the amazing destinations you’ll be paying a visit to in the game. There’s everything from the gothic statuary filled vistas of an Imperial World to the lightning-filled halls of a Mechanicus fortress. And then, of course, Comorragh.
So it seems like you’ll be heading for the Dark City among other locations. Which sounds about right. It wouldn’t be Rogue Trader if your Rogue Trader didn’t end up in hot water with one or more type of space elf. Of course, this is just the beginning. It seems likely you’ll run into Necrons as well, alongside the already well-documented forces of Chaos.
Because if there’s one thing every location in 40K’s galaxy has in common, it’s that it is more or less actively trying to kill you at every point in time.
But that’s Warhammer 40K for you.
