Age of Sigmar: Seraphon Invasion Has Begun
The Seraphon army is up for Pre-order this weekend with a ton of awesome new kits up for grabs. It’s Space Lizard time in Age of Sigmar!
We’re super excited about the new Seraphon models coming to Age of Sigmar. The Army is looking pretty strong as well so if you’re an old school Slann-slinger you’re going to be happy with this new book.
But for me personally the thing I’m looking forward to the most is the new models to build and paint! Here are the ones I’m most looking forward to finishing up.
Saurus Warriors
While these were first available in the Army Box we’re now going to be able to actually expand our Saurus Warrior units with these new models. The old kit was totally servicable but it was really showing its age. Now, this new kit has all new poses and beefier Warriors. I’ll probably go spears with my models just because of the extra reach.
Spawn of Chotec
I’m so happy to get a new Salamander with this batch of releases. The old school Salamander/Razordons were …fine for the time. But if there was one kit that really showed its age from this batch it was the Salamander. The new Spawn of Chotec comes with a few different headswaps and options so if you want to build variants you can. Also, the handlers are pretty characterful, too.
Kroxigor Warspawned
I already got my hands on these models and built them as the Warspawn versions. They have slightly larger/elongated snouts and also have different war-mauls compared to the other Kroxigors.
It’s a subtle difference but enough to be noteworthy. Which unit is better? It’s hard to gauge as they both hit really hard. You’ll want to keep some skinks around them for sure.
Slann Starmaster
Out this weekend for Pre-order this kit is finally going to be out in the wild and not just available from the Army box. The Slann Starmaster has a wide array of options when you construct it so you can really put your own spin on things from various headdresses to slightly different palanquins. I’d highly recommend not gluing the Slann down to the palanquin before you paint it though.
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Aggradon
While I could keep listing all the kits coming out this weekend this is the last one I’ll mention here. I really like the Saurus Scar-Veteran on Aggradon. He’s an excellent addition to add if you plan on lots of Aggradons in your army — or if you’re just wanting a more melee-centric hero without going fullbore with a Scar-vet on Carnosaur.
All of the new Seraphon kits are going up for pre-order this very weekend so if you’ve been waiting to get your dose of Dino-DNA now is the time!
These dinosaurs are made from plastic. Plastic is made from oil. Oil is made from…dinosaurs? Oh boy.
