These ‘Legend of Korra’ Cosplays are Here and You Gotta Deal With It
With the upcoming Avatar movie recently announced, we’re all ready to get back to the world of benders. The new movie is going to be a return to the ‘Gaang’ of the original series, but in this house, we love Avatars of all element-bending varieties. So while we’re excited for more Aang and wondering where the heck Suki is, let’s take a moment to revisit one of our other favorite Avatars with a few fantastic Korra cosplays.
The Avatar
The Avatar series takes place in a world where a small percent of the population are ‘benders,’ meaning they can control and use aspects of the four elements. The Avatar is a once-in-a-generation bender who has the power to utilize all four elements.
In the first series, The Last Airbender, Aang and his friends must defend the world against the Fire Nation. The follow-up series, Legend of Korra, follows Aang’s reincarnation, Korra through a more technologically advanced world where benders of all sorts seem to live in harmony.
