‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ DLC Adds Story Mission Based on ‘DBS: Super Hero’ Movie
Unleash the Beast in Dragon Ball Xenoverse‘s newest DLC!
Dragon Ball is THE Shonen series and is popular all over the world. The series has animes, movies, toys, video games, and so much more made based on the original manga by Akira Toriyama. It is, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite properties of all time. The gist of the story is kid Son Goku is thrust into an adventure by a young girl looking for the mystical Dragon Balls that can grant anyone a wish. The story of Son Goku and his friends then just escalated more over the years until he became an adult with a family of his own and strength that rival the gods of his universe.
One of the longest-running things to come out of the series is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is an original story that was heavily inspired by the story of a Dragon Ball MMO that never made it to the States. Players are tasked with keeping the Dragon Ball timeline intact and making sure no one disrupts the way things are supposed to play out. Sort of like Time Cop with anime instead of Jean-Claude Van Damme.

The most exciting thing, of course, is the new missions that will have cutscenes based on the movie, with players fighting to keep time from changing. Many of the DLC packs offered have similar story content, and it is always a blast to play those missions with your Time Patroller. It has been a great time to be a Dragon Ball game fan with things like Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 getting announced, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot getting more DLC, and Dragon Ball FighterZ getting a next-gen version with a rollback netcode. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 getting another DLC pack is just another cherry on top.
I can’t wait to see what the future of gaming holds for Dragon Ball!
