HBO’s ‘Harley Quinn’ Has Eyes For This Poison Ivy Closet Cosplay

We’re not destroying the world; we’re planting a ferocious Poison Ivy closet cosplay!

In the world of cosplays, there are few that stand out as much as Poison Ivy. No matter where you go or what event you attend, Harley Quinns and Poison Ivys are as common as weeds. We’re helping you join the garden with this Ivy build straight from HBO’s hit animated series.

For this cosplay list, we’re using the Poison Ivy look from the Harley Quinn show. It’s the freshest, newest iteration of Ivy, and we’ve put together some excellent ideas to get your creative juices flowing for your own build.

Poison Ivy Closet Cosplay: The Tights

For the base piece, you can use tights, leggings, or even pants. If you’ve got a shade of green that works, you’re all set. You could probably get away with black or nude colored as well.

Poison Ivy Closet Cosplay: The Top

This part of the outfit is the least seen, so go for something sleek and comfortable. This one comes with a built-in bra shelf, so you have fewer layers to worry about. A great base piece to get you started.

Poison Ivy Closet Cosplay: The Jacket

My favorite part of the look is Ivy’s iconic jacket. Green, fitted, and gorgeous, with just enough sass on the shoulder to work for the business as well as a night out on the town.

Poison Ivy Closet Cosplay: The Heels

The heels can be green or black but go with something comfortable. Whether you want a matte heel or something sleek and glossy, pick a heel that’s comfortable for long wear. You don’t want to hurt yourself on the con floor!

Poison Ivy Closet Cosplay: The Wig

The last and most important piece for this cosplay is the hair. Rock your red if you’ve got it, or go for a vivid wig. A sassy red is a crucial staple in any cosplay collection, so dust off what you’ve got in the closet and put it to WORK!
