Miles takes on friends and foes – including Spider-Man 2099 and his fangs – in this new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse international trailer.

Along with some great action shots, this trailer provides a closer look at some of the 240 characters in this movie- including Spider Punk, Pavitr Prabhakar, and Ben Reilly. All of them are members of the Spider-Force, a Multiversal team of the best spider-powered heroes led by Spider-Man 2099/Miguel O’Hara. Miles wants to join in on the pointing meme, but he has to pass a test first.

In order to join the Spider-Force he’s challenged to become the Spider-Man they think he should be. The Spider-Man so many in the Spider-Verse have become through a shared experience–sacrificing those they care about to save others. Miles disagrees and isn’t ready to lose his family. He believes he can save them and save the Multiverse, that he can create his own path. Due to this choice, Miles becomes a target of the people he thought he could trust. He isn’t just fighting another in a line of villains in this story. It’s bigger than that.

The new international trailer has a ton of action–including new footage of Miguel and Miles locked in a fight.
