Total War: Warhammer 3 – Harald Hammerstorm Is Here
During Warhammer Skulls, Total War: Warhammer 3 players got a free new Legendary Hero: Harald Hammerstorm – as well as Regiments of Renown.
Warhammer Skulls brought big changes to Total War: Warhammer 3 in the form of Patch 3.1, which not only added the Chaos-aligned Legendary Hero Harald Hammerstorm, but a few bugs that have plagued players since release.
First the good. The new Legendary Hero means more Chaos and especially more hammers for Chaos players. And Patch 3.1 brings some much appreciated updates and fixes with it, including an endgame scenario for Chaos Dwarves and new Regiments of Renown.
Sadly, though, it’s also brought some rather glaring bugs too. Damsel Troths, the Ariel Quest, and Chaos Spawn getting a little… too Chaos spawny when you zoom in. Still, it’s just a matter of time before the hotfix is in. In the meantime, here’s a look at Harald Hammerstorm and Patch 3.1!
Total War: Warhammer 3 – Harald Hammerstorm And Patch 3.1
Here are the big highlights from the new patch:
- A new Legendary Hero arrives in Total War: WARHAMMER III today for free (requires a CA Account)! Harry on down below for all the details!
- Bretonnia are getting some love with plenty of changes and rebalances.
- Sadly Bretonnia also seems to be bugged, as of press time
- The Great Drill of Hashut will strike in a new Chaos Dwarf endgame crisis for Immortal Empires, The Will of Hashut.
- Beef up the lower tiers of infantry with the fourth Regiments of Renown, arriving for free in WARHAMMER III today.
Harald Hammerstorm, aka Harry the Hammer, is a powerful armored champion who will absolutely demolish the forces of the undead. He comes with an aura that removes, temporarily, the Undead trait from enemies, meaning you can make undead units vulnerable to Fear, Terror, and being routed. He also makes enemy’s leadership worse, just for playing.
The Will of Hashut is a new enggame crisis for the Chaos Dwarves, as the legions of Dawi-Zharr unveil their invasion tunnels across the world. And those who would oppose them must infiltrate the tunnels and conquer Zhar-Naggrund itself in order to stop the Will of Hashut.
Finally there are seven new Regiments of Renown:
- Bandits of the Silver Road – Cathay Peasant Archers
- Hounds of the Blood Hunt – Khorne Flesh Hounds
- The Watchmen in the Night – Kislev Armored Kossars
- The Frolickers Bubonic – Nurgle Nurglings
- Princes of Perfection – Slaanesh Devoted Marauders
- Chromatic Abominations – Tzeentch Blue Horrors
- Boglars of the Mad Marshes – Ogre Kingdoms Gnoblars
This and more awaits in Total War: Warhammer 3, patch 3.1
