‘Warhammer 40K: Darktide’ – Patch 9 Due Out This Week
Patch 9 for Warhammer 40K: Darktide is due out later this week, according to the latest Comm-Link. Get ready for Garbs and Penances.
It’s almost time for a new patch, as Warhammer 40K: Darktide gears up for Patch 9. The latest big patch will bring with it a host of new changes, including Garbs and Penances, which promise new sets of cosmetics for each class.
And alongside those, more changes to Blessings, balance tweaks, and bug fixes. So it should be a fairly substantive patch. Not long after Darktide Patch 9 comes a content drop that promises a new mission and more.
Warhammer 40K: Darktide Patch 9
First things first, here’s a look at the stuff you can expect in Patch 9.
In the first week of May we will release Patch #9 – Garbs and Penances which will feature tiered sets of cosmetics for each class that you’ll earn by completing new penances. These earnable cosmetics will work similarly to existing penance cosmetics, with several tiers for each class.
The old class penances will be moved to a tab at the bottom of the penance menu under ‘Redacted’. Here you can see the Veteran and Ogryn’s final tier cosmetics!
Some of the new changes to Blessings include a new tier of the Power Cycler, as well as bug fixes for some of the buggier abilities right now. But once Darktide’s Patch 9 is out, we’ll presumably get to hear more about the upcoming content drop and large patch in the future.
