Warhammer Next Week – Death Guard Heroes And New Underworlds
Next week’s pre-order releases include a new wave of Space Marine Heroes, this time pustulent and perfect, and a new Underworlds box.
Next week promises plague, pestilence, and pustules as we get a look at a new wave of Space Marine Heroes. Although these heroes are a little more villainous. Because they’re Death Guard Marines. But Nurgle and his people do love life. They just want to share with everyone.
And then there’s a new wave of Warhammer Underworlds coming in the form of a new starter box. both of these will be coming up next week, let’s dive right on in.
Space Marine Heroes 2023 – Death Guard
A new selection of warriors comes to the popular Space Marine Heroes range, this time it’s the pestilent Death Guard. While you’ll be able to buy these individually at selected stockists, you can also pick up the whole set in one go with this pack of eight boxes – which is guaranteed to include at least one of all seven designs. One of these malodourous characters is the Malignant Plaguecaster – pictured conjuring the flies from his staff – who has previously only been available in Japan.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Space Marine Heroes line, these are highly detailed figures that you get individually, though you can, of course, pick up the whole set in one fell swoop if you’re a completionist.
Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set – 2023
Get ready folks, there’s a new Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set in town. Or at least there will be next week. Inside the new starter box you’ll find everything you need to play the game, including two warbands that will be fun for beginners and veteran players alike:
The new starter set features the Farstriders, veteran Stormcast Eternals armed with powerful boltstorm pistols, and the Sepulchral Guard, undead tomb wardens who overwhelm their foes with sheer numbers. The step-by-step instructions guide players through their first games, steadily introducing new rules and game mechanics until pure novices become seasoned veterans.
