Games Workshop has revealed a new Cities of Sigmar Miniature and it’s packing some Ogor Power! Who’s got the high ground now?!

The Cities of Sigmar are coming and they are bringing a bunch of new miniature to the range. Today we’re getting a look at the new Fusil-Major on Ogor Warhulk. And if you think that name is a bit of a mouthful then check out the miniature!

“The inspired combination of a keen-eyed gunner, a hulking ogor, and an elevated firing platform was first pioneered in Greywater Fastness, where the sprawling swamps of Ghoul Mere made heavy artillery nearly impossible to deploy. Now, a Fusil-Major on Ogor Warhulk stands at each corner of every Castelite formation, serving multiple roles – lookout, sniper, and formidable flank defence.”

Cities of Sigmar Ogor Power!

I’m getting some Master-Blaster vibes from this but not in a bad way. This certainly is a unique way to get the Ogor’s to support your troops in battle. I wonder how stable this “mount” is on the battlefield though.

“Second-generation city ogors are known for their remarkable ability to keep their stomachs under control for hours at a time – but nevertheless make for unpredictable steeds. How would you like a tiny boss who clambers up your shoulders just to bark orders down at you? Longer-lasting Warhulk pairings tend to rely on a bond beyond that of rank and command, such as a life debt or a lost bet. “

I’ll take your word for it, GW. On the flip side this does create some interesting rules to use. For example they have the Fortified Position rule:

As long as the unit doesn’t move you get to ignore negative save modifiers from missile weapons. That’s kind of a neat trade off. This unit basically becomes a bit of a sniper’s nest that can take a lot of the incoming return fire and shrug it off. Now I want to see the weapon profiles on this unit to see how effective it is at shooting!

Time to get on your Ogor Mounts, I guess?
