Crowley and Aziraphale have to save the world… again. The disappearance of an archangel brings celestial chaos in Good Omens Season 2.

The series was supposed to be a one-off, but thankfully for us, we’re getting another. Neil Neil Gaiman expressed his enthusiasm to Empire, stating that he is thrilled about the show’s return. He is also delighted to have the opportunity to bring back several actors from the first season. However, he mentioned that a few of them will be taking on new and specifically crafted characters.

“In this season we get to have new adventures with old friends, to solve some extremely mysterious mysteries, and we encounter some entirely new humans (living, dead, and otherwise), angels, and demons. We were lucky in the first season to have so many outstanding actors taking part, so I took pleasure in inviting people back, wherever we could, some in the roles they played originally, some in new parts written just for them.”

Aziraphale and Crowley try to hide him from the heavenly host and the pits of hell while they try to figure out what the heck is going on. The mystery will take the pair will a journey through time, space, and beyond.

Michael Sheen’s angel Aziraphale and David Tennant’s demon Crowley are both returning. As is Jon Hamm as Gabriel, Miranda Richardson as Shax, and Nina Sosanya as Sister Mary Loquacious.
