Make History With These ‘Yuri on Ice’ Cosplayers
These Yuri on Ice cosplayers skated right into our hearts and are ready to take home the gold. And did we mention they’re actually skating?
Yuri On Ice is one of those animes that manages to be popular, against all odds, well after its 2016 TV run. Between beautiful animation, genuinely likable characters, and how relatable everyone is despite how few of us can even balance on ice skates let alone compete at the highest level, this show captured our hearts years ago and still has loyal fans… even if the movie they promised years ago is on infinite hiatus. I’m not giving up hope, and neither should you!
Yuri on Ice follows Yuri and Victor as they train for competitive ice skating, and along the way, we get to know and love all of the other ice skaters, too. Y’know, that delightful sports anime trope where the competition is also hard-working and likable people who we get to know.
This week Wynter Phoenix cosplay brings one of the not-title, Otabek characters to life. But did we mention they can actually ice skate? While we love every Yuri on Ice cosplay ice skating is hard, so when someone actually looks at home on the ice makes the cosplay all the more magical.
