Games Workshop is releasing all the Datasheets for armies but if you want a physical copy you can snag these packs coming soon.

With 10th Edition coming and a massive rules update everyone is chomping at the bit to get their rules. We know they are coming digitally but GW also has plans to release datasheets in packs for quick reference.

What you really need is a handy way to have all of your new rules at your side – like, say, a pack of hardy datasheets designed especially for your faction of choice. It just so happens that these are coming just after the Leviathan boxed set, and you’ll be able to pick up an invaluable gaming aid from your local Warhammer stores on luxury, large-scale cards.

So what’s in the Datasheet packs? It’s got the faction army rule, one Detachment (with all the Detachment rules, stratagems, and Enhancements) and datasheets for the entire Army Roster! These seem a lot like the Warscroll Packs for Age of Sigmar but hey, that’s perfectly fine to me.

While you will have access to these digitally having them in these datasheets in physical form can be super handy. They make for quick rules references and you can easily hand these to your opponent if they have questions. Personally, I still keep my Warscrolls handy for those very reasons even if I know my army rules front-and-backwards.

Again, each factions rules will be available FOR FREE when the game launches and there will be PDFs to download with the latest rules updates. These rules will also be available in the Warhammer 40,000 App when that updates, too. So you don’t have to purchase these — they are just available for anyone who wants a physical product.

The Leviathan Pre-orders are going up this weekend so be prepared with all the Datasheets and Core Rules when the game goes live!
