Warhammer Next Week: Dawnbrings Book One Brings Harbingers To AoS
Age of Sigmar’s newest season begins with a bang this week, as pre-orders begin for Dawnbringers Book I: Harbingers.
A new season of Age of Sigmar begins. And with four Harbingers to usher in the new age, there’s a lot to look forward to in the coming week. There’s the new Dawnbringers book, as well as a new 2023-2024 edition of the General’s Handbook. And accompanying all of this, each of the four Harbingers gets their own cadre of companions.
AoS’s New Season Begins With Dawnbringers Book One – Harbingers
Celebrate the Twin-Tailed Crusade with a limited edition that features a soft-touch cover, gold foil blocking for the text, and gilt page edges. Each limited edition is numbered internally, and they are limited to just 500 copies, so you’ll want to act fast if you want to get yours.
Matched play gets a big update with the new General’s Handbook, designed to last for a full year of matched play. There’s primal magic, wild tundras, wizard hunters, and more in the book.
But what’s really exciting are the four new Harbingers and their Regiments of Renown.
Fjori and his Flamebearers are a band of Fyreslayers led by a Grimhold Exile – Fjori. With him you get 10 Vulite Berzerkers, 5 Auric Hearthguard, and 5 Hearthguard Berzerkers as a part of his new Regiment of Renown.
Meanwhile Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz bring 10 Cave Squigs, 2 Squig Herders, and 10 Squig Hoppers all in the Gobbapalooza, led by Rabble-Rowza Braggit.
Marrowscroll’s Herald, Jerrion, represents the Flesh-eater Courts. With 20 Crypt Ghouls, 3 Crypt Flayers, and 3 Crypt Horrors in this Regiment of Renown, it’s sure to be a feast of foes.
Finally, Phlugoth’s Shudderhood, the Harbingers of Decay, bring grim and terrible pustules to the battlefield. Unique among Nurgle’s forces for being utterly humorless, these plague-ridden pals fomr together with Phlogoth, 5 Putrid Blightkings, and 2 Pusgoyle Blightlords all in one easy Regiment of Renown.
