Are you looking to start a new Seraphon Army? Then the upcoming Seraphon Vanguard Box is a great place to start.

The Seraphon are looking like a strong army option in the current meta for Age of Sigmar for a lot of reasons. Partly because the new General’s Handbook has a big focus on Wizards for this season. But also because the Seraphon are just a rock solid army that can be played in a couple different ways.

You might think of the Seraphon as the magic slinging space lizard sorcerers of the Starborne but there’s also the more physical option — the Coalesced. But for either army it really helps when you bring the beef and that’s exactly what this box has!

“Whether you want to field an army of terrestrial Coalesced striding out of their Temple Cities, or a host of Azyrite-infused Starborne summoned from the void-ships, the all-new Vanguard: Seraphon will give you a razor-sharp backbone to build an army around.”

Kicking things off in the box we start with a great kit. For anyone who’s been a fan of Dinosaurs in their lifetime the Carnosuar/Troglodon is basically a T-Rex! In this box you’ve got the option to build it as a Saurus Oldblood on the Carnosaur or a Skink Oracle on Troglodon. Both options have their uses so it really depends on what you need.

To back them up the box also has a block of 10 Saurus Warriors that form the beefy backbone of the army. They recently got an updated kit and I gotta say they look even better in person now. Clubs or spears, the weapon option is up to you! The final part of this posse is the inclusion of the new Kroxigor kit. They can be built as either standard Kroxigor or as Warspawned.

Again, this is a great starting point for the Seraphon players out there. Maybe you missed the Launch box but even if you DID snag one, this makes a great addition to that box. Overall, I think this is a good option as a core for a new force for the Seraphon!

If they taste like chicken then would you still consider it sending in the beef? Asking for a friend…
