Anime Accessories: Stock Up On This ‘One Piece’ Stuff Before ‘Gear 5’!
If you’re on board and searching for the one piece alongside the Straw Hats, these anime accessories may be musts for your collection.
If you’re in the One Piece fandom you know that Gear Five is coming to the anime very soon! Luffy’s next power-up already made its apperance in the manga, and has been one of the bigger things fans have been hyped up about in a little while. We hope he makes it into the One Piece CCG. And I’ve seen no shortage of people trying to catch up before it happens. I’m actually in that group, and in the mid 1050s, I’m very close! So while we work on binging One Piece and waiting for Gear Five, let’s treat ourselves to some straw hat stuff.
1. Straw Hat
The characters in One Piece actually change their look on a semi-regular basis. But one thing that’s constant is Luffy’s signature straw hat. It’s also one of the easiest, most low-key, and most affordable ways to turn a pretty normal outfit into a One Piece look.
2. Zoro’s Swords
Zoro uses a lot of swords throughout the series. It helps that he uses three of them at once. How? Sometimes one is in his mouth… Look, it doesn’t have to make sense, it’s anime. This set works for cosplay or display, coming with a belt meant designed for wearing all three swords (pictured above) as well as a more standard floor katana stand.
3. Big Mom
There are so, so many One Piece figures out there, but this is the one I’ve been personally eyeing for a while now. Kaido is the current biggest bad of Wano, but Big Mom is no joke, and she’s been great this arc. This particular listing also has Boa Hancock, Kid, Law, Luffy, Yamato, and Oden. And if none of those are your favorite character or they’re all too pricy (because this Big Mom alone is $190) there is a huge variety of figures ranging from the $20-$30 area.
4. Chopper Tamagotchi
There has been an almost surprising resurgence of Tamagotchis recently, many of them partnering with popular anime series. And in this case, you can raise your own little TonyTony Chopper. For fellow kids of the 90s, this is a welcome hit of nostalgia, with the bonus fun of involving your favorite anime. Will raising a little Chopper keep you healthy (since he’s a doctor)? Who knows!
5. Building Block Sunny In A Bottle
Honestly, I love this. It’s a play on the classic ship in a bottle, but with the added fun of being made with legally-distinct-not-lego-brand-building-blocks, and being the Straw Hat’s current ship. It’s fun, it’s silly, and I bet it’s a good time to put it together. And sometimes all you really need is a fun, silly good time.
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to buy a ship and sail the seas in search of the one piece!
