Not in the mood for Oppenheimer or Barbie this weekend? There’s a super creepy horror movie crawling onto the big screen – check out Cobweb.

Peter begins to have nightmares and hears unexplained taps from behind his bedroom wall. The terrified eight-year-old goes to his parents for comfort, but they dismiss the sounds as mere figments of his imagination. They live in an old house–old houses make noises, right? Could be anything.

The persistent tapping fuels Peter’s growing fear and his parents’ patience with him wears out. They begin to punish him when he brings up what he sees and hears. Their behavior becomes ever more callous, which leads him to suspect his parents harbor a dark secret he has to uncover.

After noticing disturbing trends in Peter’s art, a substitute teacher named Miss Devine attempts to intervene. She becomes concerned for the boy’s mental health and soon finds out that his parents are not interested in helping him.

Trailer & Clips

Based on the previews for Cobweb, it’s clear something horrific is definitely going on in their house.
