D&D: ‘Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants’ Pre-Order Goes Live With Preview of New Book
Wotc’s newest D&D Book, Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants has officially gone up for pre-order with a fancy preview.
The pre-order doors have opened on Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants, the newest D&D sourcebook–and one of the final few published before the core rules are revamped and changed into a not-new-edition. WotC celebrated the pre-order with a preview, showing off what giant secrets hide inside.
Turns out Glory of the Giants will be more monster than manual, as the preview video reveals that the new monsters chapter is the biggest part of the new book. Let’s check it out!
Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants – Pre-Order, Previews, and More
Bigby the Great recounts his journeys into the history, myth, and society of giants in this guide to their realms in the worlds of Dungeons & Dragons. Here Bigby and the demigod Diancastra, child of the giants’ All-Father, Annam, unveil the secrets of Annam’s mighty descendants.
Players will find a wealth of giant-themed character options: a subclass for barbarians, two backgrounds related to giants and their runic magic, and feat options that evoke the strength and primal magic of the giants. Dungeon Masters will gain inspiration for bringing giants to life, from maps of giant-built sites and big new monsters to tremendous treasures and intriguing trinkets in a giant’s bag!
Let Bigby and Diancastra teach you everything about the iconic giants of D&D!
Add giant-themed player character options where adventurers can evoke the glory of giants with 1 new barbarian subclass, explore the vast world of giants with 2 new backgrounds, and unlock 8 new feats to unleash runic magic and wield elemental power.
And while the new player facing option is very exciting, monsters dominate the book. More than a third of the book is new monsters.
This includes new types of Giants or new types of giant monsters. There are giant geese, for instance, as well as new giant Giants.
Of course, players will be excited to see the new Path of the Giant Barbarian. This new subclass will be a good one to watch. In the Unearthed Arcana all about giant options, we got a look at a mechanic that’s just been folded into the core of the 2024 Barbarian. It’ll be curious to see if it’s different in any, pardon the pun, big way.
Giants for everyone, including new magic items!
