The Commander Masters 2023 spoilers keep rolling out, and we’re back with more CMM spoilers from over the weekend.

Commander Masters is coming out in just a few short weeks. And with it, all the good, bad, and ugly that comes with a new set that features some expensive (but not premium) products. With preconstructed decks running $80, many fans are in an uproar.

That said, some of the new cards do absolutely look good. So whether you’re hyped, angry, or indifferent, here’s a look at some of the new cards.

CMM Spoilers

We kick things off with a borderless reprint of Counterspell. This is the one that’s going to have people rifling through their binders. It’s just gorgeous, and it’s also a reprint of Counterspell. Which is just plain good, no matter how you slice it.

Speaking of borderless art cards, here’s Zacama, Primal Calamity. Who, unlike the Sliver Deck, comes with the ability to untap your lands. Zacama also just is an absolute beating, because in addition to being a 9/9, you can gain 3 life, deal 3 damage, and destroy an artifact or enchantment.

One of the few positives about the Sliver Deck, Rukarumel, Biologist. Rukarumel proves that good things really do come in five different color. She also helps make everything a single type, which means you could retribe your Slivers if you wanted, make everything absolutely bears.

Narci, Fable Singer, meanwhile is all about spinning your sagas. Since not only do you want to keep them running so you can damage and gain life, you can keep drawing cards. Spin tale after tale after tale until you’ve told so many stories your opponents lose all their life.

Finally we have Vronos from the Planeswalker Party. This Masked Inquisitor is extremely Blue in that he can adjust anyone’s tempo, either by removing your planeswalkers as targets or by bouncing things back into your opponent’s hands. His ultimate ability is nice, but you’ll be too busy tempo-ing to ever use that.

Commander Masters releases August 4th!
