If there’s a Studio Ghibli fan in your life, you may just find something they’d like on one of my Ghibli accessories picks.

When it comes to anime, Studio Ghibli is easily the most approachable entry point into the genre. The stories are sweet and meaningful, the animation is gorgeous, and have we mentioned how good the food looks? Ghibli food is its own thing entirely.

Even my parents are in the process of watching their way through the entire Ghibli collection (Dad just got to Grave of the Fireflies, Mom remembered when I watched that one as a teenager and sat it out). And there’s probably a Ghibli fan in your life too. Heck, it may be you. This means you or someone you know will probably love some of these Ghibli goodies.

1. Totoro Dice

There’s a better-than-decent chance that you probably also play a little D&D from time to time. And if you do, don’t you want new dice? How long has it been since you got a new set? Aren’t you due? Well, may I introduce you to these friendly neighborhood Totoro dice? Featuring a little tiny version of the great forest spirit with an even tinier leaf umbrella, Totoro will do his best to help you roll some nat 20s. Or take a nap, he may just take a nap. This set also reminds me of the Soot Sprite Dice by Heartbeat Dice, which are unfortunately currently sold out. But they’re also great and you should definitely give that dice seller some love.

2. No Face Lamp

Despite being sort of scary in Spirited Away, No Face has become one of the beloved mascots of the film, and Studio Ghibli in general. And this one happens to be attached to a small battery-operated light. It is a very small light, the figure only coming in at about 8cmx9cm. So this would be best used as decoration, as a nightlight, or even just bonus light on your desk.

3. Calcifer Cooking Pan

In Howl’s Moving Castle, Calcifer is the house’s cooking fire / snarky mascot / local fallen star. He doesn’t always love being used as a cooking fire and threatens to burn a few eggs, but Sophie wins him over in the end. So having a little Calcifcer frying pan is a pretty fun little joke. If you use it for pancakes, they’ll have that cute fire face on them!

4. These Ghibli Collectible Postcards

Collecting postcards is a really effective way of getting lots of little pieces of hard to display without spending a lot of money or wall space. Or, I guess you could also write letters to people and send them in the mail. This collection has 100 different postcards featuring different frames from various Ghibli Films. And the back has a list of where each postcard’s artwork is from, in case you’re not immediately familiar with any of them.

5. Totoro AirPods Case

Airpods (and a few other headphone brands) are tiny and easy to lose. Remember when headphones were huge and came on cords that we just wrapped around our CD players until they had to be held juuuuuust right so they’d even play music? Well now the easily messed up cord is no longer an issue, but losing one of the dang things is. Enter, your Airpods case. This one happens to be shaped like Totoro, and not only will he keep your headphones safe, but he also has a smaller forest spirit for company and a little leaf bento.

Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to buy plane tickets to the Ghibli Park. It’s very far away.
