Warhammer 40K: Battle For Oghram – The Tyranids Are Winning
The Battle For Oghram is still ongoing but now the Tyranids have taken a slim lead. With only three days left will it last?
Games Workshop was reporting in last week that the Space Marines had a slim lead of 51% vs 49% with over 10,000 battles reported. But now it appears that the Hive Mind has adapted and is in the lead.
With over 25,000 results now logged – that’s double the amount registered last week – the Tyranids are edging ahead. With roughly 53% of the results logged in favour of the Hive Mind, the Angels of Death are truly on the backfoot in this bloody battle – but there is still time for a savage counterattack.
There’s been a 4 percentage point swing in favor of the Tyranids. And with the end in sight, they might just take the planet! If you haven’t done so yet, you can help influence the battle. By purchasing a box of Leviathan you use the code on the flyer in your boxed set to send in your results.
You have until 10am BST on the 10th of July to enter your battle results with the flyer found in your Leviathan box.
Honestly I’m still shocked it’s even this close. Based on the contents I was expecting the Space Marines to win this throw down. The contents aren’t exactly equal in points. But the Tyranids (and Tyranid players) are adaptable! The side that wins will get an early preview of their new models on July 15th. And if things keep going the way they are going it’s going to be the Tyranids. I’m certainly not upset about that! Hopefully we’ll get to see some more massive Tyranid creatures along with whatever else GW has planned.
