You know what goes great with Grey Knights? Assassins apparently! Here comes the Assassinorum to Chaos Gate.

Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters is getting a new DLC expansion in the form of Execution Force. There’s a new announcement trailer as the forces of the Officio Assassinorum are coming to the game!

via Warhammer Community

“Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters – Execution Force introduces the Tentarus Hive, a new threat spreading through the Tyrtaeus sector. Not only will you need to eliminate these infections to prevent the corruption level from covering the planets, you’ll be tasked with boarding enemy cruisers and gunning for the generators in vicious close-quarters boarding actions to stymie the spread.”

The new DLC is adding four of the iconic Assassins to the game each with various skills and abilities to aid your forces.

The Callidus Assassin uses her shapeshifting tools to get in close and personal with her targets.

The Vindicare Assassin brings the boom with precision long-range support. If he’s got a target in his cross-hairs it’s the Emperor’s mercy when he pulls the trigger.

The Eversor Assassins bring the psycho-fury of combat drugs to the mix. When this assassin makes contact with the enemy someone is going to die. And it’s typically pretty messy.

The final assassin is the Culexus who causes a whole lot of problems for the psyker enemies of the Imperium.

Alongside this DLC there will also be a free update to download. There will be some new enemies in the mix for the forces of Nurgle.

“This new enemy patrol troop introduces the Plague Surgeon – proof of medical licence pending – gleefully gibbering gangs of Nurglings, and the Beast of Nurgle, a rambunctious, if slimy, living battering ram. Commanders will also have new Warp Surge threats and mission types to encounter, and will receive new wargear support from the Adeptus Mechanicus.”

Both the free and paid DLC will be coming to the Steam and Epic Stores later this month. So mark your calendars for July 25th and snag the updates for Chaos Gate Daemonhunters!
