Warhammer 40K: Warhammer Legends – All The Downloads You Need For These Classic Units
Do you still have some old models in your collection that you want to bust out for 10th? Check the Warhammer Legends downloads to use them.
Games Workshop has been making miniatures for Warhammer 40,000 for a long time. And not all of the miniatures they’ve made in the past made the cut for 10th edition (or previous editions for that matter). While these models might not have made the jump into the most current indexes they did land somewhere else and that place was Warhammer Legends.
“With a galaxy as constantly conflict-prone as that of the 41st Millennium, it should come as no surprise that rare wargear and war machines still do battle on the regular. Dubbed Warhammer Legends, these precious assets are not part of their armies’ regular rosters, but can still be deployed using the downloadable rules below.”
Warhammer Legends Downloads
All of the units in Warhammer Legends are “fully usable in all of your regular games of Warhammer 40,000” — and GW does encourage you to use them in your “home, in store, and at your local Warhammer clubs.” Unfortunately, these models are for use for “Official Warhammer Tournaments” so there is that catch. Why? Well, these units might have rules and points but they probably aren’t going to be checked and balanced at much moving forward. They might also be out of production so that could be another issue as well.
Whatever the case, if you do have some of these models, GW does want you to use them for fun. Hey, they are your plastic dudesmen, you do what you want. And thankfully, GW does have points for them and rules you can use!

Additionally, there’s also all the rules to download. The easiest way to snag these is to check the WarCom article and scroll down. Then click on the army download you need:

These downloads feature the Warhammer Legends model’s rules in the new 10th edition format. Along with all their updated stats, weapons, abilities, and extra wargear and rules. You know these are also Warhammer Legends because their data sheets have Warhammer Legends in the top right corner to distinguish them from “standard” 40k. There’s a ton of really cool units in there to check out!
