Warhammer Preview Online: New Plastic Knights For The Horus Heresy
The Knight Acheron and Knight Castigator are coming to the Horus Heresy with new plastic kits!
It wasn’t just one EPIC reveal for the Horus Heresy. We’re also getting a pair of new plastic Knight kits. These were formerly Forge World resin but now GW has recreated them in all their glory and in plastic! These will be lighter, cheaper, and a lot more modular than their Forge World precursors.
Knight Castigator
A fan favorite with it’s massive Tempest Warblade and infantry destroying Castigator bolt cannon this Knight is ideal for clearing out swathes of infantry. Now in plastic the Castigator will be a welcome reinforcement on the tabletop!
Knight Acheron
The Knight Archeron comes with its devastating Reaper Chainfist — an ideal weapon for tearing through heavy armour (or anything really). But don’t discount it’s Acheron flame cannon which can cook targets with the heat only a knight can bring. Also, just for kicks, it’s got Twin heavy bolters… ya know… just to mop-up.
While these knights are coming to the Horus Heresy they DO have rules for Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition. You can find those in the Imperial Armour: Imperial Knights Index. I’m pretty sure we’re going to see this unit make the jump from Horus Heresy to 10th edition and back again!
