Age of Sigmar: ‘Blacktalons’ Jump From The Screen To The Tabletop
Sigmar’s Legendary Hunters known as the Blacktalons are making the jump from the screen to your tabletop with new miniatures!
You might already know the name Neave Blacktalon even if you’re not watching the Warhammer+ show. She’s already had one miniature afterall. But now she’s getting an update as well as a whole hunting pack to join her on the tabletop!
This group of divine assassins is known as the Blacktalons. Originally formed long ago for the purpose of slaying an ancient god, the warband accomplished its mission and passed into secrecy – until it was resurrected under the Knight-Zephyros Neave Blacktalon, who gave the party its current name.
These heroes were immortalised in the Warhammer+ show Blacktalon – and soon you will be able to dispatch them on perilous missions of your own devising with cool new models.
The Blacktalons of Age of Sigmar
Neave Blacktalon
First up we have Neave Blacktalon of course. She’s the leader of this elite band of hunters. Note that her new models still has the option with or without a helmet.
Hendrick the Silver Wolf
Accompanying Neave is her mentor Hendrick the Silver Wolf. This warrior of Sigmar is a well respected hero with centuries of service to the Stormcast Eternals. He was actually the groups leader when they were known as the Silverwolves before Neave Blacktalon stepped up. He acts as her wise counsel and is a strategist due to his battlefield experience.
Shakana Goldenblade
A peer and sometimes rival of Neave, Shakana Goldenblade is on par with Blacktalon. Accompanied by her Star-eagle, Anda, they act as both scout and sniper for the hunters. While Neave and Shakana don’t always see eye-to-eye they have a bond of friendship that’s forged in battle. In fact Shakana would like Neave to be a little less reckless in battle as she thinks her friend is too quick to rely on the Reforging to bring her back…
Rostus Oxenhammer
Sometimes you just need to hit the enemy as hard as possible and that’s where Rostus Oxenhammer comes in. When you’ve got a hammer like that all your problems start to look like nails if you catch my meaning. While he is the joval backbone of the group Oxenhammer isn’t afraid to get into the thick of things and smash the enemy where it counts!
Lorai, Child of the Abyss
Lorai, Child of the Abyss, an elegant Soulscryer who has worked with the Blacktalons for as long as anyone can remember. She is a talented soul-mage who lends her magical talents to tracking the group’s prey across the realms.
Every good hunting pack needs someone that’s good at finding their prey and that’s exactly what Lorai does.
