The Fyreslayers are getting a new Warband for Warcry and they are bringing possibly the cutest “monster” with them.

There’s a new Fyreslayer Warband coming and they are called the Vulkyn Flameseekers. We’re going to look at their models but first, we gotta point out the new Kyndledroth. These are essentially baby magma lizards and if they weren’t such a fire hazard I’m sure every household would want one as a pet:

Sure, you’d need a flame-proof glove to pet one but it would be 100% worth it. Also, I’m waiting for GW to create a Pokeman-like game involving all the various “pet” monsters around the Mortal Realms. Kyndledroth vs Crab fight? I’d play that game! Anyhow, let’s check out the new Vulkyn Flameseekers.

The Warband is led by a Vulkyn Runefather which has a pair of weapon options to choose from. You can go with the drothvualt greataxe or a “shovel-like mastercrafted bokaz” which you can see below:

I’m not the biggest fan of the Fyreslayers but this is still a good take on a Runefather. Also, I can appreciate the two weapon options you get to choose from. Another character to check out is the Drothmasters which are Magmadroth tamers by trade. You can tell them apart because their pauldrons are made from Magmadroth eggs. I’m not 100% sure why they opted to have those eggs in such precarious positions but maybe it’s so the Magmadroths don’t attack them? Not really sure about their training methods but I guess that works.

The rest of the warband is made up of Drothblood Thanes and Scalebreakers. Apparently, this warband’s man job is to scour the realms in search of Magmadroth eggs and other such beasts. When they do have to put a Magmadroth down they at least harvest their parts so that the Fyreslayers can craft various armors. Waste not, want not and all that.

I do think this is an interesting take on the Fyreslayers but c’mon…the real winner here is the Kyndledroth. I think we can all agree on that.

We must protect the Kyndledroth at all costs!
