The Boyz are back in town next week. A new Dawnbringers book foretells the rise of the Orruks, and the Ironjawz are here to back it up!

Next week’s pre-orders are a harbinger for Destruction. With an all new Troggoth King and accompanying hungry, angry Troggoths, as well as a whole new horde of Ironjawz, including some much-anticipated new ‘Ardboyz. Check ’em out!

Dawnbringers Book 2 – Rein of the Brute

Dawnbringers: Book 2 keeps the campaign train rolling out of the station. The Twin-Tailed Crusade strikes out into both Aqshy and Ghyran, but finds the forces of Destruction waiting for them. In a big way. Literally, because this book introduces two titanic foes:

Gargant King Brodd – seeking vengeance for the death of his father – while the other tangles with Trugg the Troggoth King.

This book contains a selection of awesome battleplans to reenact moments from the book, as well as the latest narrative and rules for four new Armies of Renown.

Alongside the new Campaign book, you’ll also find said titanic foes, starting with Trugg the Troggoth King, who has a celestial engine embedded atop his head. It makes him angry. Er. And dedicated to smashing anything even remotely arcane.

And waking him is none other than Rabble-Rowza, the legendary Grot.

Ironjawz Bite Back

Of course the real hotness in the Dawnbringer book is all the new Ironjawz. They get a ton of new rules in the Dawnbringers book, but there’s also a free PDF download of Battletome Supplement: Ironjawz that has all eight Warscrolls, including Ardboys and their new toys, as well as the new Tuskboss on Maw-Grunta.

The Tuskboss is not only a powerful fighter and capable leader, but he makes taking Maw-Gruntas count as Battleline choices. So you can take even more. This kit can alternatively be built as a Maw-Grunta with Hakkin’ Krew

Or a Maw-Grunta Gouger.

Or grab yourself the new Orruk Ardboys, who update the classic minis into a glorious new metal-covered age.

And leading them, the Ardboy Big Boss.

And when an Ardboy isn’t enough to get the job done, which is basically never, you can also send in the Brute Ragers, who wade into battle carrying giant two-handed weapons and very little else (they’ve even stepped out of their armor).

Or call upon the Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, who have been so caught up in the Waaagh! that they’re basically a force of destruction unto themselves. Bolt on a mask, give them a flail and let ’em go. Kind of like a Squig with a smaller mouth and bigger muscles.

Finally there’s Zoggrok Anvilsmasha, who comes with his special anvil squig Klonk.

And if that isn’t enough, you can also get the Vanguard: Orruk Warclans box to grab a bunch of Kruleboyz, including a Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof, a Murknob with Belcha-banna, a Beast-skewer Killbow, three Man-skewer Boltboyz, and ten Gutrippaz.
