Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin – Stormcast Eternal Liberators In Action
The new game Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin has brought the iconic Stormcast Eternals Liberators to life!
When it comes to crushing the enemies of Sigmar in the Age of Sigmar there’s been one unit that’s been the heart of the Stormcast Eternals: The Liberators. This unit has been the workhorse of the army with their standard kit of Hammers and Shields. They helped push back the forces of chaos and liberate the Mortal Realms. And they are still fighting for Sigmar in Realms of Ruin!
Stormcast Eternals Liberator in Thunderstrike Armour
For the uninitiated, Thunderstrike armour was crafted by the duardin god Grungni to help the souls of slain Stormcast Eternals smash through the cursed skies created by Be’lakor. It boasts a slimmer look compared with the first generation of sigmarite plate, even when bulked out on the shoulders of Annihilators.
Wearing the new and improved Thunderstrike Armour, you can see these Liberators are ready for war! The video also shows them activating a defensive ability “Sigmar’s Aegis” before they charge into the enemy.
Additionally, these new Stormcast Liberators also come with some changes to their hammers and shields. The new iconography showcases the duardin god Grungni, the smith behind these weapons of war, on the field of the shield. It’s a nice touch!
If you prefer the classic look vs the Thunderstrike Armour, don’t worry — you’ll be able to swap back and forth between the two options in the game thanks to the built in loadout menu.
