Anime Candy to (Not) Give Trick-or-Treaters
You’re not going to want to give this any of anime candy to the trick-or-treaters. And that’s perfectly alright.
There are few times of year where people are given an open invitation to eat as much candy as they can handle quite like Halloween. Should you overdo it? No, of course not. But if you do will anybody really judge you? No! It’s a candy-based holiday and the rules don’t count on holidays! So stock up on this anime candy… and then eat it yourself and give the trick-or-treaters some other stuff when they come knocking!
1. Gummy Naruto Ramen Candy
There’s a lot of gummy anime candy out there–as you will see on this list- and I’m a fan of the ones that make an effort to be funny and in character. If you don’t know a single other thing about Naruto, as a character or as a show, you know that the title character is shown eating ramen all of the time. This tin comes full of gummy candies in the shape of ramen noodles. And once you finish your candies, the tin is a pretty neat little storage box for your Naruto-themed treasures.
2. Sukuna’s Cursed (Gummy) Finger
Something I really love-slash-hate about Jujutsu Kaisen is the fact that the entire story centers around normal-kid Yuji looking at this gross finger and thinking, “I’ll put that in my mouth, sure.” Because like… look at it. This one happens to be gummy candy and cherry flavored, making it a lot less gross. But I’m still not 100% sure I’d get past how it looks. That said, gold star for some fantastic marketing and design.
3. Sour Senzu Beans
Within the lore of Dragonball, senzu beans are magical legumes you can munch on to restore lost power and energy. They’re basically a D&D item in your favorite fighting shonen anime. These may or may not restore anything for you, but they ARE delicious sour candies, so that’s pretty neat.
4. Pokémon Pez
Does anybody besides me actually enjoy Pez as a candy? Because I can get one of these big-headed Pez people, fill it with the brick-shaped candy, and have an empty Pez Dispenser within minutes. They’re also surprisingly collectible in some circles. But you don’t have to collect the dispensers or enjoy the candy to think that this Pikachu and Eevee Pez set is real darn cute.
5. Sour Soul Candy’s
The Gikongan or Soul Candy in Bleach is sort of a weird invention. It forces somebody’s soul out of their body so a pre-programmed soul can take over for a bit until one of the Shinigami come by to clear everything up. You shouldn’t want to eat one of these. But they also come in adorable bunny-shaped packaging and are (in this instance) sour candy. It’s probably fine; I’m sure you’ll be fine.
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to buy all of the clearnence candy next week.
