Necromunda: Van Saar Brutes ‘Arachnika Ash-jumpers’ Rules Preview
The Arachnika Ash-jumpers are coming to Necromunda and the Van Saar are jumping for joy — time to squash your enemies!
With The Aranthian Succession: Ruins of Jardlan on the way things are escalating on Necromunda. The battle for the top house is on going and the Van Saar are jumping into the dust-up in the Ash Wastes. They have some modified tech on their side with the new Arachnika Ash-jumpers and GW has a preview of their rules today.
“Known as Arachnika Ash-jumpers, these are modified versions of the classic arachni-rig. Van Saar gangs use them in place of more cumbersome assault vehicles in the ash wastes, their skilled pilots speeding across the deserts of Necromunda in leaps and bounds to take enemy convoys completely by surprise, with jump boosters closing the distance to their target in moments.”

These tech-suits have some enhancements and modifications the other gangs can only dream about. Kicking the previews off, we get a look at their Superior Weapon Array:
Getting to shoot twice is nice and you’ll also be able to target different enemies with these shots. The standard load out on these Arachnika Ash-jumpers is pretty deadly: a heavy las carbine, a plasma gun, and a rad gun. You can also swap those out with a flamer or harpoon gun if you want to change things up even more. These tech-suits aren’t as big as some of the other vehicles out there but they are just as versatile in that regard! They also come with some nice heavy carapace to keep the pilots alive and fighting. And speaking of the pilots…
The Van Saar Teknikas are the ones in the drivers seat. Additionally, they also can take those fancy Grav-cutters into the wastes, too.
So if you’re looking to use the Arachnika Ash-jumper they won’t have to travel the wastes alone. Snag some Grav-cutters and maybe a Cargo-8 Ridgehauler, and take to the Ash Wastes — there’s credits to be made!
