Build a natural history museum complete with a brick-built dino skeleton and exhibits with this detailed new LEGO set.

LEGO’s collection of modular buildings lets you build the main street of your dreams. Over the last fifteen years, they’ve added everything from a corner cafe and pet shop to a grand theater and busy jazz club. The newest addition is one that’s been one of the most requested—a natural history museum complete with fun exhibits. This set is filled with fun details and building challenges.

LEGO Natural History Museum

This brick-built natural history museum’s two floors house a host of exhibits, including a towering brachiosaurus skeleton with a neck that rises above the first floor and stretches into the second. Visitors can also check out a display about space with a diorama of the solar system and a geology section with an array of crystals and geodes.

Beyond the exhibits, the model has dual atriums, a removable roof, and a middle floor, as well as an office for the museum’s curator. Plus, seven minifigs to enjoy all of it—and a curious pup.

The set features new building techniques with grown-up builders in mind. There are even easter eggs for past LEGO sets throughout the build.

  • 4,014 pieces
  • 7 mini figures
  • 12 in. (31 cm) high, 15 in. (39 cm) wide and 10 in. (25 cm) deep
  • Pre-orders are open now and will ship on December 1st

LEGO Dinosaur Fossils

Is the brachiosaurus not quite fitting the dino skeleton bill for you? This 910-piece set is in 1:32 scale, and each skeleton (Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Pteranodon) is articulated so you can pose them for display. The T-rex measures 7 inches (20cm) tall and 15 inches (40cm) long.

It comes with two minifigs—including a sapiens skeleton complete with an Indiana Jones-style hat—a buildable crate, plus dinosaur egg, bone, hat, and book elements.
