Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Returns For All
Games Workshop is re-releasing Rogue Trader for Print on Demand. Time to get your hands on a piece of history!
I’m willing to bet for a vast majority of Warhammer 40,000 players out there, they’ve never actually seen Rogue Trader, much less played the game. But it’s the first version of Warhammer 40,000 — and it’s a very different beast that what we’re all using today. Thankfully, GW has decided to re-release the classic book by way of their Print on Demand option.

Obviously there’s going to be an order window and then a pretty long waiting period to get your hands on this one. But this is a pretty amazing look back at the history of Warhammer and it’s even got the rules to actually play, too. So, theoretically, if you wanted to bust out your models and play Rogue Trader from 1987, you could do just that. You’ll get to experience Toughness 3 Space Marines as they were originally introduced!

And that’s just the first part. I’m still getting over the fact that was 9 years ago…oh how times have changed. It might be time to revisit that old book for an updated look at Rogue Trader.
But hey — you won’t need a video to go through the book once again if you get your own copy from GW. It’s a great way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Warhammer. Why not give Rogue Trader a shot?!
