Warhammer 40K: The Warzones of 10th Edition…So Far
Games Workshop has an entire universe to play around within the Grimdark. So where are the hotspots getting attention?
We’ve got our hands on two codexes from 10th edition Warhammer 40,000 so far. Within those books we’ve gotten to see the lore sections and where GW is shining the spotlight of war. So which warzones are heating up and could boil over? That’s what we’re here to check out!
But how are we identifying these various spots? It’s pretty simple. If you’ve got Codex: Tyranids you can follow along. Just look for sections like our first example here:
Tyranid Warzone: The Black Nebula
Not all of these sections are in our list, but if you notice the change in header and text these are good signals that there could be a warzone brewing…
That said, here’s the list of the warzone we found in the Tyranid and Space Marine codexes.

Location: Chogoris Sector – White Scar home world
Combatants: Chaos Space Marines (Red Corsairs Led by Huron Blackheart) vs White Scars and other various Space Marine Chapters
Warzone ‘Zero’
Location: Planet Zero – “veiled in the shadows beyond the Astronomican’s Light”
Combatants: Salamanders Space Marines and various Successor Chapters vs ???
Additional Notes: This is a mission by the Salamanders to find more relics left by their Primarch Vulkan. They are heading to a world known only as “Zero” and that’s all that is listed…
