Warhammer Day: Kill Team – New Season Brings Plastic Striking Scorpions
The Striking Scorpions are finally getting a new release in plastic! Your first crack at them is with the new Kill Team release: Salvation.
Yep, you read that correctly! The Striking Scorpions are getting a new plastic kit from the upcoming Kill Team: Salvation. This set pits the Aeldari Aspect Warriors against the new Space Marine Scouts that were teased previously.
Plastic Striking Scorpions
It’s been a long time coming but they are finally here in plastic! There’s a lot of different options for the unit with masks on or off. Additionally, you’ll have options for a big two-handed chainsword, too. Get your mandible blasters ready to sneak up and strike from the shadows with these new minis!
Also, the Space Marine Scouts are coming back with this box. If you want all the options for these elite infiltrators then keep an eye out for this release!
The Kill Team: Salvation box is changing up the way GW does these boxed sets, too. At the point, if you’ve been playing Kill Team you’ve probably got a ton of terrain and Killzones. GW recognizes this fact. So instead of loading the box set up with a bunch of extra terrain they are seperating that out as a separate option. You’ll still get both Kill Teams in the box but the Killzone will be an additional product that you can opt to get or skip.
This new Killzone is actually pretty cool! It’s set on the planet that the Gallowdark crashed on. That planet is mostly ocean and so there’s lots of these “oil rig” type structures. Hop on these catwalks and fight on top of the ocean with Killzone Bheta-Decima!
I have a feeling that the Striking Scorpions aren’t the only new plastic kits coming for the Aspect Warriors…C’mon new Phoenix Lords, too!
