‘Attack on Titan’ Accessories to Keep the Series Alive in Your Heart
Now that Attack on Titan is over, fill that titan-sized hole in your heart with some of this Shingeki stuff.
After 88 episodes, 139 chapters and 34 volumes of manga—neither including spin-offs and side-stories—multiple video games, live-action adaptations, and an entire decade of our lives, Attack on Titan has finally reached its conclusion.
Whether you’ve been around since the beginning, came in somewhere in the middle, or fell off of the wagon at some point, this really does feel like the end of an anime era. So let’s pick up some Shingeki stuff and keep the good (and bad, let’s be honest) times going.
1. Titan Body Suit
I low-key hate these things for reasons that I can’t quite put a finger on. But you know that the person under the photo-realistic titan body suit is probably having a great time at that convention. You can’t put this thing on and not acknowledge that it’s at least a little bit funny despite the general tone of the inspiring series. But we’re also talking about a fandom that handled the deaths of some of the most beloved early characters by making memes. So… y’know.
2. Complete Manga Series (Part 1)
If you haven’t read the manga yet, how? But also, now is the perfect time! This box set has the first four manga volumes of 34. So you’ll need about nine of them to complete the whole set for the main story. Personally, I was a reads-the-monthly-scanlations sort of fan. So it may be time to finally complete another collection in physical form.
3. Ugly Christmas Sweater
It’s almost ugly holiday sweater time. This means that it is planning and buying your ugly sweater time! Do snowflakes and the wings of freedom go together? I don’t know and I don’t care! Impress your anime friends! Confuse your relatives! And be read to answer a few questions at the family or office Christmas party.
4. Giant Mouse Pad
If you’re in the market for a new game mat or a giant desk pad, this one features the art from… one of the final seasons of Attack on Titan. Part two, I think? But that also means it features a huge variety of art and characters spanning the entire story. It was a cool piece of art as a teaser poster, and it would also be cool sitting on your desk every day.
5. The Scouting Legion Cloak
On the off chance that you haven’t already bout or made one of these in the last ten years, now is your chance. Made of flannel and lined with microfiber, this cloak is super cozy and comfy, even if you aren’t out fighting giants. The short size is perfect for cosplay, but the large one looks nice to curl up under on the couch. Or, if you want the same general vibe but in a more practical piece of clothing, there are always shirts and hoodies.
Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to build our own omni-directional movement gear. Not to fight Titans, just because it looks fun.
