‘Critical Role’: It’s Your Last Chance to Vote For Next Campaign Details (and for Charity!)
Critical Role’s upcoming Red Nose Day charity campaign promises an all-star cast, guided by your decisions—if you vote now.
Giving Tuesday is coming up, and with it, Critical Role has partnered with Red Nose Day and Comic Relief US to create a special, charity adventure. This year, the cast is bringing in Sam Richardson (Ted Lasso) and Tony Hale (Arrested Development) as special guests.
How does this benefit charity? Well, per their Tiltify campaign, viewers will be able to donate to affect a variety of decisions that will shape the game. All donations benefit charity, and the options with the most financial weight behind them will be chosen once the polls close.
So a big part of the game will be determined by the voting. However, the polls will close soon: November 3rd. So if you want to make Laura Bailey play a Barbarian, or determine the class of one of the other cast members, then follow the links below!

#GivingTuesday feels like a much-needed oasis set right in the middle of a flurry of end-of-the-year activities — a true opportunity for all of us to step back, take a moment, and show a little gratitude through giving back however we might be able to. For Giving Tuesday this year, Critical Role Foundation has partnered with our longtime friends at Red Nose Day and Comic Relief US for another special adventure that will be determined by how you elect to allocate your donation. The polling options that have gathered the most monetary donations will win and be integrated into our story, so be sure to make your favorites known loudly (LAURA BARBARIAN PLEASE). And, even better — your donation benefits an organization that has positively impacted over 32 million children fighting poverty around the world.
That’s right, friends, we’re letting you choose the story one more time and the polling is now open for the latest installment of charity-centric romps in Exandria! Let’s break down all of the details, especially if you missed our last two fundraising campaigns with Red Nose Day and Stephen Colbert.
For 2023, our Choose Their Adventure… Again campaign will feature a special adventure set within the archipelago of the Shattered Teeth, AND feature two of the most talented humans that have been on our table wish list for an eternity: Sam Richardson and Tony Hale! You might know Sam from Veep, Ted Lasso, and a ton of other projects. Joining Sam will be two-time Emmy Award winning actor Tony Hale, who co-starred with Sam in Veep, but is also known for projects like Arrested Development and even played a role in a little animated series called The Legend of Vox Machina.
Choose Their Adventure
For our campaign with Red Nose Day this year, we’ve changed a few things around just a bit:

- Sam and Tony will be live in our very own studio! It’s an honor to invite these two into our home, and shooting here in Los Angeles also affords us the ability to potentially play for a bit longer (AND ALSO A REAL COOL SET).
- Just like previous years, you’ll be able to spend your donation in a way that will shape some of the main story elements, BUT for this year, we thought it would be fun to give you the chance to vote on everyone’s character class as well!
- The polls are open RIGHT NOW so please, without further ado — make your voice heard! Polls will close on Friday, November 3rd at 11:59pm Pacific.
