Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist – Crush Them With This World Eaters Terminator Rush
Enjoy this World Eaters bloody-minded pressure army list that is all about the Terminators. For the Brass Throne!
The idea of a pressure list is always something I think about with any of my theme armies. The pressure pushes an opponent to usually make bad decisions and it is one of the ways I like to control the game. The push and pull of forcing the opponent to go in a direction in fear can sometimes direct the game and let you create an environment where you are in control. Which is one of the ways better players can bend the outcome to their will. Plus, its also the style of list I like to mess with as it is an easy one to ensure you complete the game in the allotted amount of time during an event.
With that in mind this World Eaters list is something interesting to look at. You have the full waves of pressure with a ton of wounds, tough bodies, and even a fun little side action piece with the Rhinos. On top of that you are also provided a lot of “fear” in a Hangry Angron and his posse of dirty Red butchers of death. Then of course you have some Eightbound as well to help mop things up after the main action.
With that in mind here is the list. I call this the Word Eaters Terminator Bum Rush and the idea is to use Lord Avocado to grant two units of Terminators the ability to Scout 6”. You mix that with three units of Eightbound with Lord Invocatus attached and you have a really rough batch of guys ready to hit the enemy lines – FAST. Then if you get a nice roll on the Blessings table and you can have each Terminator move +2 inches, advance, charge, and profit the only way Khorne likes it. Covered in blood and taking all the candy!

Word Eaters Terminator Bum Rush Tactics
It’s a simple, clean list that should look pretty intimidating on the tabletop. If you have decent terrain you should be able to move up to the center, hold all the objectives and be a pain to remove if you get there. The ranged weapon loadout is just there so we could shoot some bullets if you need too. I keep thinking a dual Lord of Skull list could do some of the same things but 20 Terminators – Red Butchers even – sounds a heck of a lot more interesting. Plus really fast to play.
