Next week, the foetid stench of rotting ghouls fills the air, and beaky marines fill the skies as Flesh-eater Courts and MKVI armor roll out.

As we roll into the tail end of 2023 and make ready for the next year, the gurgling, blood-soaked gasps of the Flesh-eater Courts make a resounding cry. And everyone’s favorite beaky boys make a triumphant return. Next week’s pre-order releases include a big boxed set for the Age of Sigmar, and some classic looking assault marines done up in all new glory.

Let’s crack right into the age old question, what’s in the box?

Flesh-eater Courts Army Box

The Mortal Realms shall tremble in fear at the delusional grandeur of the Flesh-eater Courts. These ghastly ghouls are all about putting the letter H immediately after the letter G and also terrorizing everyone with their big bats and guys riding them. And in the new Flesh-eater Courts Army Set, a kit of 25 completely new plastic miniatures awaits their necrotic orders.

The Abhorrant Gorewarden leads the fray, accompanied by a Varghulf Courtier, 3 Morbheg Knights, and 20 Cryptguard to hold the fleshy line. Alongside these miniatures, the “launch edition” of the new Flesh-eater Courts Battletome, and all the warscroll cards, tokens, etc. that find their way, inevitably, into these boxes.

Horus Heresy Unleashes Beaky Marines – MKVI Assault Squad

Meanwhile in the grim darkness of the 31st Millennium, in the Age of Darkness, a blast from the past is storming the skies. The MKVI Assault Squad releases in all its beaky glory. These Space Marines have that nostalgic look. Hearkening back to the days when you played Warhammer for fun, instead of to complain about how the rules aren’t what they used to be, this kit of 10 Assault Marines comes with enough options to kit out the whole squad with chainswords and then either bolt pistols or combat shields, depending on what you prefer.

You can also outfit the Sergeant with extra weapons options, like the lightning claws, seen here. This kit works with all MKVI upgrade sets, so you can make these as Legion-specific as you like.
