It appears that we’ve got a new cudgel of some type coming in the future but this Advent Engine isn’t spilling the beans.

Welcome to the Advent Engine! It’s that special time of year when Games Workshop’s teaser department kicks into overdrive and we get the Advent Engine every day for (almost) a month! This one is a little confusing but maybe not for the reasons you think. Let’s not waste time — take a look for yourself.

“What mystery has the Advent Engine unleashed today, as it reaches its halfway point? Is this an arm holding a staff, a staff holding an arm, or both? Who can tell? “

Advent Engine Clobbering Club

This is a complicated image. First up, let’s just acknowledge that the perspective on this is making parts of it hard to decipher. The grayscale isn’t helping. But from what I can discern, we’ve got a club or staff — let’s call it a blunt instrument — that’s got a chain attached to it.

That chain is attached to someone who’s also holding the shaft of this club. Now, that doesn’t really seem like a sound weapon strategy. At least for a melee weapon like this. Especially since the chain appears to connect the head of this object.

And what’s up with this person’s arm? They have some odd wrappings for sure. At least we can tell it’s humanoid arm. But another facet that really has me confused is what’s up with the tiny peg and lightning bolt coming out of this club?

Did someone say lightning!?

I don’t know if this is a Stormcast related model as the arm isn’t well armored. It could be a Cities of Sigmar wizard or something like that however.

But that’s just another shot in the dark. This is really a strange one. I keep going back to the arm and the clothing on this one. Oh well — if you’ve got any clues you want to call out drop us a line in the comments. This one has us scratching our collective heads!
