Light the fires and kick the tires because the Advent Engine is back. Is it incense or something more intense?

Welcome to the Advent Engine! It’s that special time of year when Games Workshop’s teaser department kicks into overdrive and we get the Advent Engine every day for (almost) a month! It’s an interesting looking incense container …or is it? Have a look for yourself:

“In the darkest days of winter, a light to guide you home is always appreciated… although there’s something about the light being shed by the Advent Engine today that looks a bit suspicious. Nah, we’re sure it’s fine.”

Advent Engine – ‘Light The Incense’

It looks like a censer of some type with Incense coming out in big, billowy wisps. Or it’s a ghost. I’m not 100% sure either way.

Looking at this a bit closer the censer is a bit too clean for Nighthaunt. It’s hard to tell for sure but there are other factions that use incense and censers in their motifs.

So it’s not exactly a censer/incense but you get the idea…

There’s also factions on the 40k side of the house that this could apply to as well.

These are the old Deathwing but I could easily see these maces with smoke coming out of them, too.

There’s also the Ad Mech and possibly Chaos worshipers that it could apply to. You know, the more that I think about it, censers show up a lot more in 40k than I thought. Not as much as skulls…but still. Is this is gonna be a tactical censer or something entirely different? That’s the big question. The next question is how long will it be before we find out? Will we found out in a year or less — place your bets!
