These 3D Printed Sci-Fi Ogres Are Packing Serious Firepower
Build your army up without breaking the bank with these fantastic sci-fi ogres from Wargames Atlantic and MyMiniFactory!
Wargames Atlantic is one of my favorite miniature companies, and they release miniatures in both hard plastic and on MyMiniFactory at an incredible rate.
Recently, a friend of mine brought three of the Les Grognard Ogres by Wargames Atlantic to my place for a game of Grimdark Future. If you read my other posts, you might remember these guys from when I talked about Wargames Atlantic’s plans for 2023. I also have a review of these figures.
Now, let’s take a look at these painted figures!
Tough on the Tabletop
These miniatures come with a few different options to print off – I chose to build mine with the biggest guns in the set. There are also swords, rifles with bayonets, spears, and pistols. They are detailed and easy to put together once printed.
This first shot is from my most recent game of Grimdark Future by One Page Rules. It is not the best shot, but it is an action shot of the Ogres running from Von Ryan Lictors that I was proxying in as Alien Hive models for the game.
A Closer Look at the Painted Les Grognard Ogres
Let’s toss on the photo lights and get some beauty shots in of these figures. Dave painted these Les Grognard SciFi Ogres with GW Contrast Paints. The end result looks really good on the tabletop.
The photo lamp makes a big difference. These masks are so cool.
The minis themselves look fantastic. Overall, I really like the paint job Dave did on these 3D Printed miniatures.
These minis were 3D Printed in resin. Now, let’s run a number of these photos do you can see how great these are before wrapping this article up.
