Anime Cups That Aren’t Stanleys
These cups may not keep ice cold in the middle of a fire, but they will keep you drinking water all day. And they have anime!
Stanley Cups are everywhere—and I get it. As a member of the “I carry around water bottles big enough you may think I’m crossing a desert and also I need my water to be ice cold” club, they seem immensely useful.
Of course, I don’t think I’d ever need more than one. And if I’m being honest, I own too many water bottles and insulated thermoses already. But what about you? Do you need a good insulated travel cup? Could you stand to add a little more water to your day? Well, these cups aren’t Stanleys, but they are anime.
1. Classic Water Bottle
This a regular, classic, simple stainless steel water bottle. The kind that comes with some lunch bags or you can get as an easy souvenir. And it’s a classic for a reason—it works. Do you need something to hold water for you? It’ll hold it. Will your ice melt? Eventually, yeah. But if you’re staying hydrated you’ll probably be going for a refill by then anyhow.
2. Warm Cup
This is leaning a little in the other direction, but sometimes it’s cold out and you want to travel with a warm drink. This is one of my preferred styles of on-the-go coffee cups. Do I usually forget about that coffee and leave it on the counter as I’m kids out the door? Yes, of course I do, and with some regularity. But the vacuum-insulated walls mean that I can return to the coffee after daycare drop-off with no problem.
3. Metal Straw Cup
Personally, I prefer a water cup with a straw. So this lidded Tumblr really hits the spot. This cup boasts the ability to keep hot drinks hot for up to six hours and cold drinks cold for up to nine. But how many of your drinks are lasting that long? Which Straw Hats’ wanted poster would you get?
4. Insulated Tumbler
Another, similar spill-proof, insulated straw Tumblr would work equally well for your morning coffee or traveling the world with some water. There’s even a little brush for cleaning inside of that reusable straw. This comes in four different designs that all equally jokey about anime as a hobby in a way that’s a bit too relatable to younger versions of ourselves.
5. Straw Covers
If you use straws a lot out in the world, you may want to keep them covered between sips. We’ve all learned firsthand that the outside world can be gross, so keep your traveling water safe and relatively germ-free. As a bonus, your drink can be protected by one of these eight Pokémon.
