‘Call of Duty’ Dataminers Find Potential ‘Warhammer 40K’ Crossover
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 may be crossing over with Warhammer 40K in the grim darkness of the not too distant future.
Dataminers uncovered a surprising potential crossover for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: the grim darkness of Warhammer 40K’s distant future. It’s a crossover that makes sense, if you think about it. Both games are full of random noobs with an expected survival time of fifteen minutes or so, dominated by people who are both more and less than human who’ve been playing the game for what seems like hundreds of years that can spit acid.
Only in Call of Duty, the acid they spit is just slurs about your mom or your mum depending on which side of the Atlantic your server happens to be in.
And while, at press time, there’s been no confirmation from Call of Duty, the 40K crossover does at the very least seem legit, given the extensive amount of details found and subsequently released into the wilds of the internet.
Call of Duty Dataminers Datamine Warhammer 40K Crossover
Before we dive into what they have revealed, let us pause a moment to consider the life of a dataminer. How it must be to, every day, take up one’s digital pick and head into the datamines, risking virtual cave-ins and code lung. It’s probably exactly like that one sequence from 2001’s Zoolander.
But the odds are good you won’t even read this far. You’ll just click on the headline if that, and then it’s either off to the comments or social media to complain—if we’re lucky. More likely, you’ll just nod silently to yourself in that “Ah yes, I’ve just read a piece of content, and by so doing have staved off a looming sense of meaninglessness, good one, me.”
I’m guessing these new icons are to do with War Hammer pic.twitter.com/7fzDZg1Ax6

The news comes from that barely functioning cesspit that continues to dredge on, despite the best efforts of the world’s most desperate-to-be-cool billionaire: Twitter. There, Call of Duty dataminers like @CODWarfareForum and @SemtexLeaks, usernames which are windows into another world.
A world that, with every passing crossover, including an upcoming one with The Boys, and now Warhammer 40K, is becoming more and more like Fortnite every day.
OPERATOR 1: PRIMARCH OF THE DARK ANGELS, INTERROGATOR-CHAPLAIN BOREAS

According to the “strings” found within the data ore, we may see two new operators, the first of which is Interrogator-Chaplain Boreas, incorrectly labeled in this tweet as “Primarch of the Dark Angels.” Because, as we all know, the Primarch of the Dark Angels is Lionel El’Johnson.

And the second operator is a Sister of Battle known as Helewise.
Alongside cover art from books that will doubtless be familiar to our audience, there are all sorts of new hints at what to expect, including a new execution labeled “buzzsaw” which seems very likely for the Chainsword option, as well as several more sword takedowns.
No official word yet on when this crossover might happen. But look for it sometime in the grim darkness of the distant future.
