Games Workshop Rumor Engine: We’ve Awoken The Hive
Games Workshop has a new Rumor Engine and this one has us buzzing with activity. Take a good look from a safe distance.
It’s another Tuesday which means it’s time for a new Rumor Engine. Today’s tease from Games Workshop looks like it could sting pretty bad if you mess with it. I hope you’re not allergic to bees or other stinging insects.
“The fourth time’s a charm in January, vis-a-vis Zoats. We just have that lucky feeling.
It’s a nope on Zoats. Still, there’s always February, or as long as we can keep this Zoat riff going until someone tells us to knock it off. “
Rumor Engine: We’ve Awoken The Hive
Sorry, still not sure why GW keeps teasing about Zoats. Anyhow, this is clearly a couple of hives on a tree branch. Those look more like hornet nests to me, but I’m not entomologist. And I’m certainly not a beekeeper either. But I have been stung by hornets before and that’s not exactly fun.
Anyhow, what the heck could this snippet be a picture of? Well, my first inclination is something to do with nature. And there’s already a nature spirit out there that shoots hives of bees at things…
Sure, I guess technically they are sprites or “flitterfuries”…but still. Ask Nic Cage — It’s Bees!
If nothing else, the Sylvaneth certainly have all those tree branches for these hives to grow off of. I’m not 100% sure it’s going to be related to them but I feel like they might be the obvious start. There are other folks who have a thing for insects though…
Typhus is a big proponent of the Destroyer Hive afterall. Although his bugs are a bit more warped if you catch my drift. Still, these insects do have that Nurgle shape.

I’m not saying that these are a Nurgle infestation…I’m just saying maybe call an expert for removal. In anycase, if you’ve got an idea of what these could be drop us a line in the comments with your theories!
What do you think of this hive? All natural or warp spawn warning?
