Let’s take a moment to check in on the Rumor Engines from January 2023 to see how those turned out. Where are they now?
In January 2023 we actually had five Rumor Engines so this should be pretty exciting. Did they all get a reveal or is GW still holding back any of these? Time to dig in and find out!
January 3, 2023 – That’s No Disco Ball
Status: Solved
This one was a sneaky angle shift from the Fellgor Ravagers Kill Team. Don’t let those Beastmen fool you!
January 10, 2023 – Smoke In A Bottle
Status: Solved
The miniature is called ‘Invocation of the Elements’ and is the current Store Anniversary miniature for Warhammer 40,000. I was not expecting this to be a T’au Ethereal but I do appreciate they actually gave them a few different options for the “elements” coming out of the jar.
January 17, 2023 – A Tease From Trazyn
Status: Solved
This teaser was for the Kill Team Exaction Squad of Adeptus Arbites. Anyone else hope we get more of these models in the future?
January 24, 2023 – Wristblades And Claws
Status: Solved
Those claws belong to the Claws of Karanak warband. Who knew that those crazy Khorne followers would turn into Flesh Hounds (eventually)?
January 31, 2023 – One Classy Club
Status: Solved
The Kroxigors were the final answer for this teaser. I’m happy to say were we in the right ballpark for this reveal!
Well, that’s all for January 2023. All of these turned out to be reveals for the year and we don’t have any dangling mysteries left unsolved.
