The Blood Angel Upgrade Packs for The Horus Heresy add some amazing new flair and hobby options for your marines.

Sometimes you just need a little extra bit here or there to spice up your miniatures. That’s where these upgrade packs from Games Workshop come in and fill that gap. These new Blood Angel upgrades are just that: upgrades. They aren’t mandatory but they will add that nice extra bit of style to your Space Marines.

“As the Great Crusade wore on, the Legions fine-tuned their wargear as their weaponsmiths modified them to align with their personal style and philosophy.

Because of this, during the crusade, and the succeeding civil war, few armouries looked as fine as those of the Blood Angels.”

Blood Angels Upgrade Pack

This pack contains quite a few weapon swaps and options. There are three Blood Angel bolters with that special “wing/blood drop” motif, two inferno pistols, an Iliastus assault cannon, and four ‘Perdition’ master-crafted weapons. It’s worth noting the vents on the weapons are for flames to spew out. All of the accompanying arms are included as well.

There’s one more upgrade option coming as another resin kit from Forge World as well:

“Blood Angels techmarines would often fit Iliastus assault cannons to their tanks, both as pintle weapons and in twin-linked configuration for the turret, which in time became known as Baal Predators.

With the resin Blood Angels Predator upgrade pack, you can upgrade your own tanks with these armaments and blast your foes away in a hail of withering fire.”

YEP! The Blood Angels are also getting a new Predator upgrade pack, too! Time to load-up on those Iliastus assault cannons and go to bullet town! If you’re wanting these kits they are both slated for release later this year.

Those Perdition weapons look awesome. Leave it to the Blood Angels to make some good looking weapons.
