Warhammer Next Week: Old World Models Made To Order
The Old World is back in a big way, and next week brings an opportunity to get some old, familiar faces once again.
Things are really cooking for the Old World. With more and more in the way, next week brings a chance to look back at some old familiar faces. And buy them, of course.
A series of made to order miniatures from the Old World, or Warhammer Fantasy as these models (and you) may well remember it, will be up for a limited time from GW. This is your chance to enjoy these blasts from the past and fill out the ranks of your Old World army.
Old World Made to Order – Bringing Back Your Favorite Warhammer Fantasy Minis
It all kicks off with those most virtuous of knights, the Bretonnians. Here we have a Bretonnian Lord in all his 90s glory, complete with winged horse and helmet. This model can wield a sword or lance.
More knights? Try the Bretonnian Lords and their Battle Standard Bearer on Warhorses. These trio of heroes come separately, the horses are plastic, but the rest is all metal.
Or get out some Paladins. These Paladins on foot can “add variety to your infantry regiments” ad give you some stylish helmets that prove there’s no such thing as too over the top when you’re from Bretonnia.
It wouldn’t be Bretonnia if there weren’t Damsels of the Lady around to handle a little of the peril.
But the Tomb Kings also get in on the action, with a pair of actual Tomb Kings, one with hand weapon and shield, and the other with great weapon.
Add to them some Liche Priests who are old enough to drink, alongside their Battle Standard Bearers, even plastic skeleton horses, and you’ve got a party.
These will only be available for a limited time, per GW:
“The following miniatures are all cast in metal, with a smattering of plastic horses where necessary, and will be available to order from 10am local time on Saturday the 27th of January, on a Made to Order basis. They will only be available until 8am GMT on Monday the 5th of February, and your order may take up to 180 days to arrive.”
All this, kicks off next week!
