Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist: World Eaters – Berzerker Horde!
The 40K January Dataslate update affected the World Eaters army a bit, but don’t worry. With this Berzerker Horde army list, the skulls will fall!
Alright, my poor World Eaters army got wrecked a bit by the Dataslate update. I don’t think it is all bad, but man, it does make me sad a bit. Still, I plan on finishing up some stuff, getting them on the tablet, and doing some damage. If it weren’t for that, I would have to look towards Daemons – but I need more Troops to make it work. Still – let’s dig in to the World Eaters.
With the World Eaters army, you are now forced to shift into a much more troop-heavy army to get your rerolls for the Blood Tithe. Or you can say screw it and just still run towards the enemy. This leads me to two thoughts, and I figured – “let’s build both ways and see what might work out”.
I still love the idea of a ton of Berzerkers in Rhinos heading up the tabletop. Your characters are no longer holding the Enhancements as closely as they were before. While that is kind of sad I am sure we can figure things out. So with that let’s do the Berzerker Horde first and then go with the full “Scout” option I thought that might work.

The idea here is to really just utilize enough pressure with your Eightbound and Rhinos full of crazy people to hopefully get on objectives. The list gives you chances for rerolling single dice, and just having a better chance to get Angron back. Of course, this isn’t always something you need – but having a 415-point model come back turn after turn is pretty good if you ask me. Still, this might not be enough pressure needed, but that is why the next list is just all in on speed and pressure.

This is a pretty simple list with a ton of bodies coming at you hard, fast and maybe I will get lucky and roll 3 6’s. You are currently throwing out SIX units of Scouting options! This move up, try to use terrain and maybe crash into you with a bunch of daemon-infused pressure. It is probably what I will mess with first, as it just feels nice and easy. Plus I get to show off some Exalted conversions I did.
The Balance Dataslate was mean to World Eaters but I don’t think it is completely out. You just have to shift your plan to something less based on – trying to get Angron back over and over again.
